Finished our 70th birthday celebrations on 1st with a visit to Chef Tony Singh's Supper Club (although we took the lunch option) - arrive 13:00 at his home to be welcomed by himself at the door; appetisers matched with cocktails; 8-course 'taster menu' each with a matched wine; dessert and cheese, again with appropriate wines; 12-covers only, chatting together with Tony; carriages for 17:00. A great experience not to be missed if you get the chance.
A generally quiet month - a couple of medical appointments, work on the genealogy (after last month's stop in Burnley).
