Still at the house awaiting some sort of resolution to Pat's medical situation, although she seems to have organised the treatment-room nurses to give her late afternoon appointments (which means she'll get parked).
At our weekly catch-up with Fhi in Italy, she has confirmed she will be flying over for a holiday, 4th to 26th August, splitting the time between the house and "Paws" (if I am aboard) - look forward to it .
Brought in a local groundworks contractor to overhaul the driveway and front 'garden' area. Driveway dug out and grass skimmed off. Edging put in against non-hard surfaces, contrasting small slabs put around hard areas and hard areas covered in tarmac. Extended steps installed at front door. Quote obtained for replacement garage door (approx lead-time = 4 weeks)
