Still at the house awaiting some sort of resolution to Pat's medical situation, although she seems to have organised the treatment-room nurses to give her late afternoon appointments (which means she'll get parked). Her other medical matters are being dealt with, and she says she doesn't need me. Local firm replaced the garage door (with electric roller door). Sky have offered me a free upgrade to Full Fibre (which I jumped at!); they will attend next month.
Fhi is due to arrive on 4th August for a holiday - the 1st 10 days at the house with Pat, then to "Paws" for 10 days with me. Tentative plans had been made for the "trip", but stoppages have been announced due to low water levels (effectively cutting off the Wolverhampton Level) so the Atherstone and Hillmorton Flights won't be far off closing.
I have arranged to go on a 'mini-pilgrimage' on the 4th - a short guided walk from Dalgety Bay Church (meet over coffee), via the ancient church of St Bridget, where we will celebrate Communion, to Aberdour Church (for soup lunch).
