Bidford-on-Avon hit the news in June, when a tractor hit the stone parapet and wall of the medieval bridge. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera. Canal traffic is only affected in that caution is needed passing under a different arch, pedestrians are now using the bridge, but road traffic is expected to be prohibited for some time to come.
