Storm Dennis passed through on the night of 15/16 Feb 2020. Although the winds appeared lower than for Storm Ciara the previous week, the rain was considerably heavier, and onto already waterlogged ground. It eventually flowed off the fields into the marina.
The water in the fields was flowing off onto the perimeter road . . . .
. . . and onto the pontoons.
It left a number of cars stranded, either in the outer car park or around the bays
(yes, that's the road, not the Cut!).
