The Moira Canal Festival celebrated it's 20th year on 21st May 2022 (after 2 years off due to the Covid situation). Held at the Moira Furnace Museum and Country Park , it hosted the usual selection of stands and stalls, with entertainment on the stage at the foot of the furnace. Special attractions included a flypast of the sole remaining (at time of visit) flightworthy Lancaster in the world (that held by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight), and wartime-era songs from the D-Day Darlings .
