At Banbury, 9th June 20201, quietly moored opposite Sovereign Wharf.
Two boats (1 private, then 1 hire) passed within about a minute of each other at a speed I consider to be well in excess of suitable. Looking out after the second, I found our bow swinging mid-channel. Our rope was intact, but the ring welded to the top of the pilings, to which we had been attached, was sheared and bent. The hire-boat was reported to its yard, and both reported to CRT as there had been damage to property.
