The Nene Valley Railway has its base at Wansford, running trains from Yarwell, through Wansford, Ferry Meadows and Orton Mere, to Peterborough. A full round trip takes 1½ hours. For a visit to Ferry Meadows, part of the Nene Park Trust complex, leave the train at Overton (Ferry Meadows) station. For Peterborough Cathedral and Railworld, leave at Peterborough station.
