The museum  traces how brewing came to be a dominant industry in Burton. Human-guided tours are free (about 1.5 hours), and there are also audio guides available for those who wish to retrace the guided route or linger at exhibits longer. Excellent visit, and inexpensive. The museum houses a large part of the Bass Collection, and includes steam plant and vintage vehicles. Shire and Clydesdale horses are also kept at the centre. Tickets also include vouchers to enable sampling of up to three of the specialist beers brewed in the Worthington micro-brewery.

Moor by bridge 32 (Horninglow Basin / Tom's Moorings) and walk south along Horninglow Road to Centre - about 20 mins.
